On 5th September 2024, our school celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm and appreciation for our esteemed educators. The event was organized in collaboration with the PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) and the students of Class 10, who took on the responsibility of arranging various games and activities for the teachers.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome speech, followed by a heartfelt tribute to the teachers, acknowledging their relentless dedication and guidance.

Highlights of the Programme:

Games for Teachers:

   Class 10 students, in collaboration with PTA members, organized entertaining and interactive games for the teachers. The activities aimed to bring joy and relaxation to the teachers, allowing them to unwind and enjoy themselves. It was a delight to see teachers engaging in friendly competition and sharing moments of laughter.

Cultural Performances:

   Students from Classes 8, 9, and 10 presented a series of cultural performances, which added vibrancy to the event. There were captivating dance performances that showcased the students' talent, followed by a skit that humorously highlighted the daily lives of teachers. These performances were met with applause and appreciation from the audience, particularly the teachers.

Gifts for Teachers:

   As a gesture of gratitude, the PTA members presented thoughtful gifts to all the teachers. Each gift symbolized the appreciation the school community holds for the teachers' hard work and dedication. The teachers were visibly touched by the gesture and expressed their thanks.

Address by Correspondent Rev. Fr Joachim Fernandes:

A special address was delivered by our correspondent, Rev. Fr Joachim Fernandes, who spoke eloquently about the vital role of teachers in society. He emphasized how teachers shape not only the academic but also the moral and ethical foundations of students. Fr. Fernandes expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the teachers, reminding everyone that their contributions leave a lasting impact on every student’s life.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the PTA, Class 10 students, and all the participants who made the day memorable.
