Children's day is celebrated on November 14th every year in India to commemorate the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the country's first Prime Minister. He was fondly known as Chacha Nehru and had a special place in his heart for children, advocating for their right to a fulfilled childhood and education. St Mary's central School, kinnigoli filled with band of children celebrated in the auditorium at 10.15am. The management as well as teachers warmly welcomed the students. Respected invitees also were present for the same. Mr Ronald Fernandes invited as Chief guest. Fr Lancy Joel Saldanha the Principal, PTA Vice President Mr Stany Pinto, Secretary Mrs Divya Pinto, Treasurer Mr Steevan D'cunha were also presents. Teachers are given meaningful cultural program. All the students were filled with joy to seen the performance of the teachers. On this joyful occasion Mr Ronald Fernandes said "Children are the torchbearer of the future. Mr Ronald Fernandes an experienced agriculturist got awarded as " Karnataka Jilla Rajoythsava Prashasthi. The effort hardwork which was recognised by the government of India. We the people of St Mary's central school, kinnigoli proud to honour Mr Ronald Fernandes for his tremendous work as agriculturalist. Fr Lancy Saldanha in his speech he said Children’s Day celebrated nationwide on November 14, is also known as Bal Diwas. This day honors the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. During the program few of the students were got certificates and shield because they had participated in various cultural competitions which was held in Pompei PU College Aikala, Talipady. EXPLORICA 2024 overall championship bagged by the St Mary's Central School, Kinnigloi.

Thus, the program ended by the school anthem.
