I am glad to welcome you all for the academic year 2023-2024, one more year of journey towards academic learning blended with diverse activities with holistic
approaches.

Today, the field of education is a more complex and challenging reality than ever before. Stakeholders in the field of educational institutions are confronted with the reality that no matter how efficient we claim to be in this field, our best efforts are challenged by our own conscience and other educational institutions.

This challenge is not a threat for any institution. Rather it is a "dynamic force" that infuses a healthy dose of vitality. It saves us from the temptation of being complacent.

We, at St Mary's Central School, are well aware of this reality and constantly focus on updating ourselves by investing in providing excellent infrastructure and human resources. The development of infrastructure each year and the activities in curricular and co-curricular fields at our school are the testimonies for our uncompromising attitude in providing quality education.

Students are challenged and engaged through authentic learning opportunities that inspire them to develop creativity, confidence and ethical life- long learners.

Our efforts have been recognised and rewarded by our students and the parents.

Students have rewarded it by securing 100% result in Board Exams each year.

Our focus is not restricted to produce excellent academic results alone. We give equal importance to ensure create conducive environment for blooming their personalities. It gives us immense pleasure to observe their active participation in Science Club, Literary club,Eco club,Singing club,Art and craft club,Dance,Yoga,Karate and Music; Chess,Table Tenis, Volleyball etc... And in Celebration of National Festivals, Sports Day and the School Day.

Parents, especially the PTA members have played a significant role in the success story of this institution. They have shouldered the responsibilities. They have stood by us, especially during the critical moments. They have expressed their trust in us by seeking admission for their children in this institution.

This success story gives us a sense of satisfaction. However, Robert Frost gently wakes us up from the "nap of satisfaction" in saying:

"The woods are lovely,
Dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep".

I wish you all the best and a fruitful academic year.Let us move ahead together to reach great heights and establish LIGHTED TO ENLIGHTEN.
