Throw ball is a popular Indian sport also known as 'Catch ball' Or 'Netball'. It promotes physical fitness and co-ordination. AICS Inter school throw ball tournament Ball Blasters 2024 was held on 24th August 2024 in our school premises. Tournament began with a prayer and then guests did the opening ceremony of Ball Blasters 2024 . Invited guests for the program as follows: chief guest Mr Anil Lobo Chairman MCC Bank, Mangaluru, Guest of Honor Mr Dhanjaya Shettigar President Rotary Club Kinnigoli, President Rev Fr Joachim Fernandes correspondent St Mary's Central school, Principal Fr Lancy Joel Saldanha, Assistant Parish Priest Fr Steevan Cutinho, vice President of PTA Mr.Stany Pinto, Secretary Mrs.Divya Pinto, Treasurer Mr Steevan Cuntinho. 17 CBSE schools participated and the participants were stunning. Players played according to the norms and regulations of the tournament.

St Mary's Central school appreciated the participants for all their hard labour and continuous effort that they had put in during the tournament. It was an amazing day and fabulous performance remains live streamed memory in the bosom of St Mary's Central school. Messages from the guests and the correspondent , flowed one beaconing point "play until you get success, lose until you get satisfied". There is no fruitfulness without the good hand of the PT teachers who toiled very hard to get success to the institutions. At 3.00pm closing ceremony of the tournament was held invited guests were Mr.Diwakar Chowta,the president of Aikala Panchayath, Principal Fr Lancy Joel Saldanha, Sr Anith Principal of Bethany school, Kinnikambla, Mr.Stany Pinto Vice President of PTA, Mrs.Divya Pinto, Mr.Steevan Cutinho Treasurer. All the guests came forward and awarded the winners as well as the participants.
