On December 22nd 2023 St.Mary's Central school celebrated Christmas Day in the school auditorium. The event was graced by the president Fr.Lancy Joel Saldana, Principal of our school along with the esteemed guests Teena Mascarenhas, Joyce Mascarenhas, Anitha Noronha and Stany Pinto. Their presence surely added to the occasion's significance and highlighted the spirit of unity.
The stage was adorned with glittering lights, sparkling ornaments creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for celebration. The celebration commenced with prayer by the school choir. The highlights of the events tableau, carols singing and captivating dance performance by students showcasing various dance forms inspired by the Christmas theme.
The chief guest of the day, Teena Mascarenhas and Joyce Mascarenhas shared their thoughts regarding Christmas day. Prizes for various sports events of 1st to 4th , as well as relay prizes for higher grades were awarded on that day. At the end of the programme, our principal delivered the vote of thank and congratulated all the winners.
