Environment day celebration was held on 22-07-2024 in the school Auditorium. According to Wangani Maathai “The Environment and the economy are really both two sides of the same coin. If we cannot sustain the environment, we cannot sustain ourselves”. The programme was begun with a short prayer led by the 7th B students. Fr Joachim Fernandes the Correspondent, Principal Fr Lancy Saldanha

Were present for the programme students performed the various items like Melodiously sung group song in honor of environment day. Artistically students performed tabloo and given the apt message to the group saying “Have love for the nature”. Correspondent Fr Joachim Fernandes shared his few thoughts to the students.” Nature energises our health”, it’s the resource for our living “. Plant the few saplings it will be the richest gift that you are offering to the nature. Fr Lancy Saldanha the Principal also shared his few thoughts saying “Beautify your life by connecting yourself to the nature”. “Nature acts and reacts according to the situation that occurs in the world”. Go green, go clean.

After the stage programme there was plantation. Few saplings planted by our correspondent Principal and the students along with the teachers.

Thus, the programme was ended by singing the school
